MAP testing is completed and the scores are in.  Please be on the lookout for an email from the school referring to tutoring sessions offered for math and ELA.  They will be sent home to students in math that are at least 8 points below the grade level norm.

All of my math classes use the program MAPPERS in their Khan Academy.  Students work on these practice concepts to cover areas they showed they needed improvement in for the MAP test.  Students work on these when they are completed with our weekly work in class.  Tutoring students will also be working with MAPPERS.  They will just have a dedicated time during the week to focus on them.  Students have shown a huge improvement on the test after the tutoring sessions.  That is why I use the program for everyone.  I want to help all students improve even the ones that have scored beyond the norm.
